Self-produced energy for Net Metering

Net Metering Generation and UtilityAfter installing your own renewable energy, you can generate your own electricity and send it to the electrical grid thanks to a policy called Net Metering. This policy has to be previously signed with the utility company.

Net metering works by utilizing a meter that can record energy flow in both directions. At the end of a given month, the customer is billed only for the net energy used.  If the customer has produced more than is being consumed, the electric meter runs backward generating credits.

1. We can compensate our consumption with our generation sent to the eletrical grid.

2. We can avoid the accumulation of energy and therefore all related costs such as batteries and energy loses can be eliminated.
